Huge emergency service response after dog attack with man rushed to hospital - live updates
Emergency services are responding following a dog attack in Sale this afternoon (June 25).
There has been a huge emergency service response to an incident on the corner of Urban Road and Washway Road from around 3.20pm.
Witnesses have reported seeing a large number of police cars, as well as two ambulances and an air ambulance.

Greater Manchester Police have said they were called to reports that a 'dog had attacked another dog' and as a result a man had 'fallen'. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing, a spokesperson said.
"The dog that was attacked has been taken to the vets for further treatment. The offending dog has been contained and seized by police," the force added.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said that a man received medical treatment at the scene and has since been rushed to hospital.

One eyewitness reported seeing a 'large dog' pull it's owner over before 'dragging' him. They added that the dog then attacked an 'elderly lady's small dog' on the opposite side of the road.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance crew and senior paramedic attended an incident following a 999 call at 15.24, reporting that a person had been attacked by a dog.
"A male patient received treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital."
