From Dean Smith, who is @DeanoZoff73 (that’s a decent name, I quite like that as Twitter names go): with a view to next season and assuming we don’t get promoted, who breaks into the first team from our B team? … We’ve both had a good look at the B team this year.
We have. There’s obvious ones – obviously has been on the fringes of the first team before but he’s been playing a lot of B-team football this year because he had that injury that kept him out for 7-8 months last year between May and December; and obviously been playing in there. Those are the boring answers [just because we're already familiar with them].
I think is quite close if he can stay fit. He’s had a similar injury to Aaron Rowe, actually, funnily enough, and he’s been absolutely banging in goals when he plays. He has played for the first team before as well, and he’s a real exciting talent. He’s only 18 now – he’s a Welsh winger for those who aren’t familiar, absolute bags of pace, an eye for goal and can cross the ball as well. I think he’s got potential but it’s fitness that’s the issue for him.
