Huddersfield Town look set for double injury boost after duo spotted in training

Levi Colwill and Danny Ward are back in training with Huddersfield Town ahead of Saturday afternoon’s trip to face Coventry City in the Championship. The pair both missed the last two games injured as the Terriers secured their top six finish with a pair of victories over Middlesbrough and Barnsley.

Chelsea loanee Colwill has been covered by Naby Sarr after suffering a hip issue, while Jordan Rhodes has deputised for Ward, who had a hamstring niggle. Both replacements scored in the 0-2 victory at the Riverside Stadium, with Rhodes subsequently opening the scoring in the 2-1 win over Barnsley last Friday.

Colwill and Ward can be seen both in the gym and on the grass in a training video posted by the club ahead of the trip to Coventry – the first time Town have visited the city since 1971 after last season’s behind-closed-doors league game was played at Birmingham City’s ground, St Andrews.

Whether either player will be fit to play a part in the game remains to be seen with Carlos Corberan set to give a full injury update at his pre-match press conference on Friday morning. We were unable to see Danel Sinani and Sorba Thomas on the video.
