Huddersfield Town announce ticket offer for Championship promotion showdown with Bournemouth

Huddersfield Town are doing everything they can, both on the pitch and off it, to help the Championship promotion push.

The Terriers have been brilliant this season and have been able to mount a real challenge in their pursuit of a return to the Premier League.

Those in charge at the club understand how important it is to have the backing of a strong crowd at the John Smith’s Stadium.

For that reason, they have announced that tickets for the huge clash with Bournemouth on March 19 will only cost £10.

With four games in hand over Town, the Cherries currently pose the biggest threat to their position in the automatic promotion places.

The table is likely to look different by the time Scott Parker brings his side to West Yorkshire but it will still be a huge game in the race for promotion to the top flight.

The news was announced this afternoon and the statement on the official Town website read as follows:

“With both sides firmly in the top six of the division, this is one of the Terriers’ biggest matches of the season so far. Town will be looking to add to their list of memorable John Smith’s Stadium performances across 2021/22 against one of the strongest sides in the division.

“Entering the final stretch of the Sky Bet Championship season on a run of 16 league games unbeaten, Town will be looking to further cement themselves toward the summit of the division against another side with similar aspirations.

“With away trips to West Bromwich Albion and Millwall to come before AFC Bournemouth visit the John Smith’s Stadium in our last match before the March international break, the Terriers will be looking to go into their final handful of fixtures high on confidence.

“The atmosphere has been electric at home this campaign
