England under-21s kick-off the 2024/25 season with a double-header against Northern Ireland on Friday evening.

Interim head coach Ben Futcher, who is in temporary charge while Lee Carsley oversees the first-team, takes charge of the young lions for the first time in Ballymena.

England have three games left of their Euro 2025 U21 qualifying campaign after winning six of their first seven games. Ukraine currently lead the group after maintaining a 100% record after six games.

The under-21s squad is littered with Premier League stars, all hoping to follow in the footsteps of Cole Palmer, Angel Gomes, Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Gordon into the first-team. Morgan Rogers, Liam Delap, James McAtee, Elliot Anderson and Jarell Quansah are all in contention to feature.
