How to watch Man United vs Leicester - TV channel, live stream, Carabao Cup kick-off time
Manchester United will start a new, and possibly short, era on Wednesday night as they host fellow Premier League side Leicester City in the Carabao Cup fourth round. The match will be Ruud van Nistelrooy's first, and perhaps only, in charge as interim manager.
He was appointed as Erik ten Hag's temporary successor following the decision, on Monday, to sack United's head coach. After a run of one win in eight games in all competitions, and a continuation of last season's struggles, Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe pulled the plug.
Van Nistelrooy, who arrived as assistant manager earlier this summer, is expected to be replaced before long by Sporting CP's Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese club have confirmed that an offer to buy the 39-year-old out of his contract has been made, with United's intentions to appoint Amorim now firmly clear.

Amorim himself was on the touchline for Tuesday night's Portuguese cup match against Nacional. Sporting won that match 3-1. United have their own work to do, meanwhile, as they welcome Steve Cooper's Leicester City to Old Trafford in a bid to reach the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.
