How much money did Comic Relief raise in last Red Nose Day in 2023?

Loyal followers of Comic Relief will find it hard to believe it has been a year since they last excitedly watched the total raised for Red Nose Day climb into the millions. And as viewers are about to see it all play out again tonight (Friday), they are reminded of last year's charity success.

"Thanks to the amazing public, this year we raised an amazing £35,310,407," Comic Relief's website proudly informs. This was the total last year, which was not as high as a couple of the previous years but still potentially life-changing sums of cash.

Comic Relief night of TV took place in Salford, Manchester, as it will do this year. The BBC show was presented by AJ Odudu, David Tennant, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness, and Zoe Ball. The famous charity said the money raised last year would help support people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and tackle issues such as homelessness, mental health problems, and food poverty here in the UK and around the world.

They endured 70mph winds, freezing temperatures, aches, pains, and fatigue, as they trekked to the summit of Cairn Gorm
