Manchester United sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina as loan fee revealed

Manchester United have completed the signing of midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on a season-long loan deal from Fiorentina, making the Moroccan their fourth signing of deadline day.

United will pay a €10million loan fee to Fiorentina for the 27-year-old and have the option to make the deal permanent for €20million, plus a further €5million in add-ons.

Erik ten Hag has been pushing for the signing of Amrabat all summer, having managed the midfielder at FC Utrecht between 2015 and 2017. Amrabat impressed during Morroco's run to the World Cup semi-finals and was out of contract at Fiorentina next summer.

Manchester United get Rasmus Hojlund fitness boost for Arsenal fixture

Erik ten Hag says Rasmus Hojlund is fit enough to start for Manchester United against Arsenal on Sunday.

The 20-year-old was not visible in training imagery and footage released by United this week but he has trained with his new teammates and is in contention to make his debut at the Emirates Stadium.

"So he had a good training week," Ten Hag said. "So tomorrow we have final training but he's doing well, he's responded well. So he will be available for Sunday's game.
