How much Man City have spent on agent fees compared to Premier League rivals
Manchester City top the Premier League standings this season when it comes to fees paid to agents and intermediaries with a whopping £35m spent.
That figure has been forked out between February 2, 2021, and January 31 this year. The Blues' star-studded squad welcomed a new addition last summer in the form of England international Jack Grealish.
Despite the hefty spending, Pep Guardiola has continued to deliver success to the Etihad Stadium. 2021 saw City notch their third Premier League title in just four seasons.

City eclipsed their rivals and had over a £6m difference between themselves and nearest challengers United (£29m). Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea ranked next with a whopping £28m, with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool making up the top four, as per figures released by the FA. Across the Premier League, a total of £272.5m was spent.
The figures emphasised the financial muscle of the top-flight clubs, with all 24 Championship teams paying a relatively measly £44m to agents and intermediaries. Meanwhile, League One and League Two clubs shelled out £4.4m and £1.25m respectively.
