How Mike Tyson blew through £307m fortune on lavish mansion, supercars and bizarre pets
Mike Tyson amassed an eye-watering £307million ($400m) fortune from his professional boxing career - only to face bankruptcy a few years later.
During a two-decade career, Tyson reigned as the unified world heavyweight champion for three years, and won 50 fights - 44 by knockout. Millions paid to watch him fight during his prime either in person, on television or even at theatres.
His most lucrative bout was undoubtedly against Lennox Lewis in 2002 for the unified heavyweight titles. Tyson lost, but reportedly earned an enormous £79.3m ($103m) - marking the most lucrative payday of his boxing career.

He reportedly splurged £3m ($4.5m) on cars, £76K ($100,000) monthly on clothes, and exorbitant sums on exotic pets, including his three Bengal tigers, Kenya, Storm, and Boris. Tyson also bought a huge, 21-bedroom mansion in Connecticut with its casino and nightclub. However, he filed for bankruptcy in 2003.
Tyson discussed his spending with Graham Bensinger in 2016, saying: "That's just how I lived my life. I don't even fathom that. I don't even think I'm that kind of
