Mike Tyson and Jake Paul handed new world heavyweight rankings after Netflix showdown
One-time undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has been ranked at 309 in the BoxRec standings after his defeat to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. 'Iron Mike' made a stunning return to boxing - last weekend - when facing off against the internet personality.
Tyson's encounter with the 27-year-old was his first professional scrap since losing to Irish pugilist Kevin McBride back in 2005. Despite his spirited efforts, Tyson was outmanoeuvred throughout his bout with 'The Problem Child'.
Although he avoided a knock-out loss, the 58-year-old was bested on points. Reflecting on the event on Twitter, now known as X, Tyson said: "This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I'm grateful for last night, no regrets to get in ring one last time."

Tyson added: "I almost died in June. Had eight blood transfusions.
"Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish eight rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy Stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you."
Following a shocking defeat, Tyson has plummeted to 309th in the latest heavyweight rankings. In contrast, Jake Paul has ascended to 126th worldwide after his dramatic victory in Texas, leaving him 183 places above Tyson - as per reports from The Mirror.
The spectacle might have left some attendees restless and dwindling - before the outcome was even declared at the AT&T Stadium but, nonetheless,
