How Manchester United should line up vs Crystal Palace in Premier League fixture

Manchester United will play Crystal Palace for the second time this week at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

United began their Carabao Cup defence against Palace with a 3-0 win on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial and the fixture is set to be played again in the Premier League.

Roy Hodgson's side delivered a lifeless performance earlier in the week and Erik ten Hag, speaking after the win, said he expects an 'entirely different' opponent when the two teams clash again in the league.

Regarding the team news, Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay are set to return to the squad, but Ten Hag suffered a double injury blow on Friday when it was confirmed Lisandro Martinez and Sergio Reguilon both have injuries.

United's defence picks itself with Reguilon and Martinez out. Amrabat has to start at left-back and Lindelof just edges out Harry Maguire, who was assured in midweek.

Mason Mount and Casemiro have to be the midfield pairing and Bruno Fernandes should come back in on the right. If a poll was held on who should start on the left, it would be tight after Alejandro Garnacho's goal in midweek. For now, Marcus Rashford should continue as Garnacho's impacts in the Premier League have primarily come off the bench.

It's another week at United where injury issues have become a major concern. Onana is the obvious selection in goal but there are only five fit defenders and no fit left-back, despite the club having three of them.
