How Manchester United should line up against Tottenham in Premier League fixture

Manchester United have a stiff test on Wednesday night as they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

United are trying to build momentum in the Premier League following the brutal battering handed to them by neighbours Manchester City but hit yet another speed bump on the weekend when they played out a goalless stalemate with Newcastle, a match they had the chances to win. Spurs will be the first match in a tough week for Erik ten Hag's side, with a trip to Chelsea to come on Saturday.

Ten Hag will continue to be without Anthony Martial who is back in training but not yet fit enough to return to action. Christian Eriksen is in a late race to be available with United waiting to make the decision on his capacity to play following illness until Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Donny van de Beek remain sidelined but are expected to return to training later this week.
