How Man City should line up vs Atletico Madrid in final pre-season friendly
Pep Guardiola has one final chance to experiment with his Manchester City side before they return to England for the Community Shield clash With Arsenal next week.
City have beaten Yokohama F Marinos and Bayern Munich on the Japan leg of their pre-season tour, before travelling to South Korea for the weekend when they take on Atletico Madrid in Seoul.
Guardiola has mostly rotated his outfield players, giving most 45 minutes each across the first two friendlies. With the stifling heat playing a role in Japan, the temperature is even hotter in Seoul and could impact Guardiola's plans for the Atletico game.
Still, with the last game of the tour on Sunday, Guardiola may want to field a side that will go on to face Arsenal next week, with his starting XI possibly an indication of how he wants to approach the coming season.

The Community Shield should be a chance for Stefan Ortega to start, so a run-out would do him good. If there are any doubts over Nathan Ake, he shouldn't be risked, and Aymeric Laporte deserves a chance to impress after scoring vs Bayern Munich. John Stones can continue at the back to learn his midfield role in possession.
We saw Rodri and Kalvin Phillips next to each other for the first time in 12 months against Bayern Munich, and that was worth another look, with Mateo Kovacic worth giving another start to get to grips with his new teammates.
