The Blues are likely to add a new central midfielder to their ranks and are expected to strengthen their backline since a fair few first-team members have doubtful futures.

Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen are all out of contract this summer, with neither at this stage looking likely to commit their long term futures at Stamford Bridge.
