Horse racing results LIVE as Cheltenham build up continues with Newcastle, Sandown and Wolverhampton

It's getting closer... and closer... the Cheltenham Festival is just days away and we could have a couple of pointers for that this morning, so stick with us.

Of course, we'll be majoring on today's cards at Newcastle and Sandown over the sticks, and Wolverhampton later on, on the Tapeta.

Champion jockey elect has more than once chance of extending his already unassailable lead at the head of the title race, with a couple of runners worth noting on the Newcastle card, where it's on the soft side of good.

Meanwhile, it's Grand Military Gold Cup day at Sandown Park, so we'd better shape up for the sergeants, lieutenants and majors of this world, who'll do battle over the three miles of the Esher track.
