Home comforts for Ayr United as Lee Bullen's side entertain Arbroath in cinch Championship curtain raiser
Ayr United will enjoy home comforts when they kick off the new cinch Championship season against Arbroath.
Lee Bullen’s side will play host to the Smokies, who reached the Premiership play-off semi-finals last term, on Saturday, July 30 with a 3pm kick-off at Somerset Park.
The following week, on Saturday, August 6, the Honest Men will travel away from home to meet Championship new boys Queen’s Park.
Matchday three, on Saturday, August 13, sees Ayr lock horns with Hamilton Accies at Somerset before heading to Aberdeenshire on Saturday, August 20 to play Championship debutants Cove Rangers.
United fans can look forward to a Christmas Eve cracker at home to Dundee on Saturday, December 24, before heading to Cappielow on Monday, January 2, where they’ll first foot Morton.
United’s final league game of the season takes place away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, a Friday night clash, with 7.45pm kick-off, on May 5.
