Hojlund, Shaw, Mount, Maguire - Manchester United injury round-up and return dates
Manchester United will have to change their starting XI for the first time this season when they play Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
In their opening two matches against Wolves and Tottenham - which have delivered three points - United have named the same team. However, injuries picked up by Luke Shaw and Mason Mount means Erik ten Hag will, now, have to make at least two alterations.
Harry Maguire was, also, absent from the matchday squad against Tottenham. Ten Hag provided an update on players during his latest pre-match press conference. Here is our round-up from the United treatment table, including potential return dates for Shaw, Mount, Maguire and Rasmus Hojlund;

What United have said: "Unfortunately, he has also been ruled out of the first part of the 2023/2024 season and we await further details on his estimated recovery date."

What Ten Hag has said: "Not for tomorrow. [He's] Near. Today, for the first time, he came into team training so next week we expect him to do a full week of team training, so he's near to the squad."

Possible return date: August 26 vs Nottingham Forest (H)
What Ten Hag has said: "Harry picked up a small issue in the final training session [before the Tottenham game], therefore he could not travel with us."
