'Hidden' Big Brother star forced to speak out after launch show complaints as fans said 'they could never'
Big Brother's 'hidden' star has spoken out after the launch show was hit by complaints. The hit reality show returned to British television for the first time in five years with a barman, make-up artist, butcher and youth worker among the string of new housemates.
The influential social experiment, which sees housemates live together in a custom-built home for weeks without access to the outside world in a bid to win £100,000, has opened its doors once more with 16 new contestants entering the new, yet still famous, house.
It also has a new home on the small screen after previous stints on Channel 4 and Channel 5. Big Brother started in 2000 on Channel 4 before Channel 5 took over in 2011, airing in the UK for a total of 18 years. But it will now air on ITV2 after an all-ITV debut on Sunday night (October 8).
