Hibs slap in FOURTH Luke McCowan transfer bid as Celtic yet to show their hand

Hibs have submitted an improved FOURTH offer for Luke McCowan.

David Gray has been desperate to land the Dundee midfielder throughout the summer and the Easter Road side have moved once again to get a deal over the line. Celtic are still believed to be monitoring the 26-year-old in what is set to be a very busy final couple of hours for Brendan Rodgers - but Record Sport understands the Hoops are yet to make their move.

McCowan trained with his Dundee teammates earlier today as they prepare to host St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. The Dark Blues are unbeaten so far with one win and two draws to date. But they may well take to the turf tomorrow afternoon without their influential fans' favourite if they decided to accept offers from elsewhere. He's entered the final year of his current deal and that could tempt Dundee chiefs to cash in before the window slams shut.
