Hibs release new away kit and fans learn when they can buy 'unique' jersey

Hibs have unveiled their new 'cabbage' away kit ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Manager Lee Johnson currently has his players over in Portugal for a warm weather pre-season training camp ahead of their first match of the campaign in Premier Sports Cup action versus Clyde. They have already unveiled their home kit for the new term and have now confirmed what will be worn on the road, with their first Premiership game away at St Johnstone.

The cabbage pantone forms the base colour of the kit which is finished off with a stylish black ribbing around its collar and cuffs. Just like this year's home effort, there is a subtle nod to their Easter Road home with a white outline of the stadium roof sublimated into the background of the top. Utilita are the sponsors while Hibs' club crest is embroidered in black and white on the front of the jersey.

Commercial Director Greg McEwan said: “We are really excited to unveil the Cabbage Kit to our supporters ahead of the new season.

“Our technical partner, Joma, have done a wonderful job in bringing the kit to life and helped showcase our proud connection to the club’s historic routes with this unique jersey.”

In keeping with their ‘greenest club in Scotland’ campaign, Hibs' shirt is made from 100% recycled polyester material to minimize the impact on the environment.

It is available to fans from 10am on Monday 4 July from both the club store and online.

No prices have been launched for the kit yet but the home release provides some indication. Prices range from £45-£60 while an infant home kit can be bought at £45.
