Heywood man charged with attempting to abduct child on their way to school in Blackpool
A man from Heywood has been charged with attempting to abduct a child in Blackpool last week. He has also been charged with causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
The charge follows an incident last Thursday morning (May 25) in Blackpool.
No children were physically harmed, police said. Cash McLaughlin, 22, of Miller Street, Heywood, has now been charged with attempting to take a child; and causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

He have been remanded into custody to appear at Blackpool Magistrates Court this weekend.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Cash McLaughlin, 22, of Miller Street, Heywood, has been charged with attempting to take a child and causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was remanded into custody to appear at Blackpool Magistrates Court on Saturday."
