Woman left with broken shoulder after being robbed as police issue urgent appeal

A woman was left with a broken shoulder after being robbed in Westhoughton. Police were called to reports of the incident near Glebe Street at around 8.30pm on May 20.

The victim had items stolen from her in what officers described as a 'particularly nasty incident' as she also sustained the injury in the attack.

Greater Manchester Police are now urgently appealing for information and have released an image of a man they want to speak to who they say is a witness to the robbery and could hold 'vital information'.
