Helen Flanagan fans say 'she's back' as she puts on glamourous appearance after health ordeal

Fans of Helen Flanagan have said 'she's back' after breaking her silence over a recent mental health ordeal. The actress recently took a lengthy break from social media as she also took time out from the spotlight following a scary health scare.

Helen's ill health was referenced when she was forced to pull out of her stage debut. The former Coronation Street star was due to travel the country playing Miss Scarlett in Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter but pulled out for "medical reasons" and was replaced by former co-star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach.

But it wasn't until earlier this week that Helen, 33, opened up herself about what's been going on. Taking to social media on Wednesday evening (March 27), Helen, who is a single mum to three children - Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two - who she shares with her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair, shared her first update in months by posting a fresh-faced and smiling snap in which she flashed a peace sign with her hands to the camera.

She explained: "So basically I really struggled mental health wise December/ January xxx I felt really not great in my head over Christmas and I didn’t really feel that much different when I took the kids away for new year xxx I had a lot of difficult things going on things I just can’t talk about on Instagram x I felt
