Amazon customers can watch Fallout for free as fans say Prime series is 'on par with The Last of Us'

Amazon’s Fallout series is finally streaming on Prime Video, with fans hailing it as 'on par with The Last of Us' and 'one of the best video-game adaptations' ever. The hotly anticipated series is a live-action adaptation of the hit video game franchise of the same name and is available to watch free with an Amazon Prime 30-day trial.

From Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and video game publisher Bethesda, Fallout follows a new and original story set in the world of the games. As per its official synopsis, it takes place 200 years after the apocalypse, as the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.

All eight episodes of Fallout are available to watch now on Prime Video. It is included with an Amazon Prime subscription, which usually costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year, but Fallout fans can watch the entire series absolutely free if they sign up for a 30-day free trial.
