'Heard that from a number of people' - Ex reveals 'brilliant' WHUFC loanee earning rave reviews
West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has been discussing Hammers youngster Conor Coventry and his form whilst out on loan.
The 21-year-old, despite being dubbed by some outlets as ‘one of West Ham’s hottest prospects’, has very much been a fringe player at the London Stadium, only making three appearances for the senior side over the years with the rest of it spent either with the academy or out on loan.
He currently finds himself on loan at MK Dons, where he has been a regular for them since joining in January, starting four games and completing 90 minutes on three occasions.
ExWHUemployee spoke about the youngster on the latest edition of The West Ham Way podcast as part of a segment where he discussed a number of Hammers players who are out on loan.
He relayed information that he had gathered from a number of people who watched Coventry’s performance at the weekend, and he appears to be making quite the impression at Stadium MK.
Ex said: “Conor Coventry played for MK Dons who are third in League One and he started against Lincoln in a 2-1 win. Conor once again had a great performance in midfield and [is] solidifying his place in the team as they push for promotion to the Championship. I heard that he was absolutely brilliant against Lincoln, I’ve heard that from a number of people, so good to see that he’s doing well there.”
TIF Thoughts on ExWHUemployee’s comments about Conor Coventry at West Ham United…
It is good to see that Coventry is earning some rave reviews for his performances whilst out on loan.
Because if he is indeed one of their hotter prospects, the club are starting to approach the territory of having to decide what to do with him, which may well include putting him into the first team.
