'He's unstoppable' - Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag delivers staunch Antony defence

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has described Antony as "unstoppable" despite his dismal second season at the club.

Antony has not started a Premier League game this calendar year and he has been afforded only one start in United's last eight matches. The £86.3million winger has not scored a top flight goal since April and was overlooked in favour of 19-year-old winger Omari Forson for the 2-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday.

It is unclear if Antony will earn a recall in the FA Cup fifth round tie against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night but Ten Hag expressed his dismay at those who criticised his selection of Forson for a full debut.

"Antony: I backed him for a long time. I know his abilities and he has
