'He is our legend, no doubt!': Fans react to Parker's sudden Amakhosi exit

Football fans across South Africa have taken to social media after Kaizer Chiefs confirmed Bernard Parker's departure from the club after eleven years.

The 36-year-old has amassed over 350 appearances in Amakhosi colours, netting 64 goals for the Soweto giants.

Parker won two Premierships titles (2013/13, 2014/15), the Nedbank Cup (2012/13) and the MTN8 (2015/16) crown, including the 2013/14 Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award and the 2014 African Nations Championship Golden Boot.

Twitter erupted with messages of support and appreciation for Parker's playing abilities, with many calling him a "Chiefs legend".
