'He could land in Manchester United' - Napoli star's agent discusses transfer links

Manchester United could be a potential destination for Napoli winger Hirving Lozano, according to his agent.

Erik ten Hag has made no secret of his desire to strengthen United's front line since his arrival at the club. Six new signings have already walked through the door in the form of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka, with the Dutchman keen to embark on a squad rebuild.

Of the six, only Eriksen and Antony are likely to regularly contribute goals and assists. Despite warnings from the club's hierarchy about potential limits on future spending, Ten Hag will be eager to continue his rebuild and add more firepower to his front line.

Cristiano Ronaldo's drastic downturn in form will also be cause for concern, as United pin their hopes on Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to lead the line. However, a new name has now been tipped to join United, with Lozano's agent, Alessandro Monfrecola, admitting his client could move to Old Trafford next summer.

Monfrecola told Gonfia la Rete (as per Sport Witness ): “Next June, Lozano will leave in my opinion, also because he earns over four million at Napoli. Although he is delighted to be here, he has never hidden that he aspired to the top English clubs, although now he is probably realising that Napoli itself is a top club.
