Harry Maguire shares honest verdict on Manchester United season and sets fresh target
Harry Maguire admits the season must start now for Manchester United following the astonishing comeback win over Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
United were, seemingly, heading for a seventh defeat this campaign already when Brentford took the lead in that Premier League showdown. However, in the most dramatic fashion, Scott McTominay scored twice in added time to snatch victory away from their plucky London opponents.
The result offered United some respite following their early-season struggles, while their players, such as Maguire, are now preparing to represent their countries during this month's international break. England will meet Australia, followed by a Euro 2024 qualifier vs Italy.

Speaking before those matches - in an interview with Sky Sports - former captain Maguire has urged United to hit the ground running and show their true colours once the domestic push resumes. United return to Premier League action with a trip to Maguire's old club Sheffield United on Saturday, October 21.
On the McTominay-inspired heroics, the 30-year-old said: "That was a really important win. Obviously it has been a difficult time for us at the start of this season.
"We've not had the results that we, as a club, demand. Like I said, I think the season must start now.
"This must be a turning point for us all, as individuals and as a club. We must kick on from this."
