Harry Maguire benched and Fred starts in Manchester United predicted line-up vs Brighton

Manchester United will be looking to build on Monday's 3-0 win over Brentford and keep their very slim hopes of securing Champions League football for next season alive when they face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Saturday evening.

United, who beat Brighton 2-0 at Old Trafford back in February, will make the long journey south knowing that a victory would move them to within two points of the top four, ahead of Arsenal playing on Sunday and Tottenham's late kick-off against Liverpool. However, both the Gunners and Spurs will have three games in hand by the time United conclude their fixture on the south coast.

Although United will be going in search of a second consecutive victory, they will be desperate to end a run of four successive away defeats in the Premier League. They have been beaten by Manchester City (4-1), Everton (1-0), Liverpool (4-0) and Arsenal (3-1) in their last four matches on the road.

Despite the win over Brentford doing nothing more than papering over the cracks that have been caused by United's woes this term, it was a much-improved performance, meaning Ralf Rangnick may have some easy decisions to make as far as his selection is concerned. Therefore, it is unlikely that he will make too many changes.

In goal, David de Gea is expected to start after keeping just his eighth Premier League clean sheet of the season on Monday. He has started every game this term and is expected to continue between the sticks against Graham Potter's side.

The back-four, however, could see Rangnick prove tempted to make at least one change, with club captain Harry Maguire set to be included in the squad. He
