A man caught on camera appearing to throw a 'missile' as Erling Haaland celebrated his first goal in the Manchester derby was detained and arrested, the Manchester Evening News can reveal.
Manchester City beat their old enemies United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, the 191st meeting between the sides. Haaland put the Blues 1-0 up in the first half after the intervention of the video assistant referee (VAR) saw a penalty awarded for a pull on Rodri by Rasmus Højlund.
