Green Brigade in defiant Celtic message as returning ultras unfurl banner with loaded Jock Stein quote

The Green Brigade have unfurled a pointed message after they returned to the Celtic Park stands.

The ultras back in the standing section for the Premiership clash with Livingston after being shut out for two months after the club took firm action following a sting of incidents and fines. But after agreeing to a new code of conduct with Celtic powerbrokers allowed the supporters to return to the stands. The group marched to the stadium before kick-off with a pyro display taking place outside of the stadium in Glasgow's east end.

And once they were back in the North Curve section of the ground for the Scottish Premiership clash, a banner echoing a famous Jock Stein quote was unveiled by the ultras. It read: "Football without fans is nothing." There was also a message of appreciation for those that had showed support for the group during their exile with a second banner reading: "Thank you Bhoys!"
