Greater Manchester’s Oasis bar to host special party for fans as tickets for reunion tour go on sale

It’s been a ‘biblical’ week for Oasis fans so far after Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed they would be reuniting for a huge 2025 tour.

The brothers announced on Tuesday that they would be heading out on the road for 14 dates next July and August, including four nights at Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 19 and 20.

The tour, which will kick off in Cardiff on July 4 and 5, will also include big shows in London, Edinburgh and Dublin, with tickets going on pre-sale on Friday and general sale on Saturday.

With Oasis mania in full gear, fans are taking the opportunity to soak up the nostalgia and memories of the band - with fans in the Gallagher’s hometown of Burnage speaking to the Manchester Evening News about what the Britpop group means to them.

In Bolton, the Definitely Maybe bar, which is decked out head-to-toe in Oasis memorabilia, has announced it will be throwing fans a special party on Friday to coincide with the special week.

Strictly for Oasis fans only, the party will require attendees to dress in Oasis-themed outfits in order to gain entry - think band T-shirts or bucket hats emblazoned with the Oasis logo.

The two-floor venue on Nelson Square will feature a selection of drinks available to buy from just £1 as well DJ sets and live music from Jack Bennett, who will be singing some of the biggest songs from the Oasis back catalogue throughout the night.

Those already familiar with the venue and who possess a loyalty card will be able to get in early to the party between 8pm and 9pm, with Oasis fans available to join from 9pm. It’ll be free entry before 11pm too.
