The estate agents say that an increased number of families are looking to up sticks to the established family-friendly Tameside town due to its reputable schools, local parks and good transport links, with most wanting to move their to settle down and grow their families.

Known as a base for hat-making for more than 200 years, many residents in Denton have strong local links to the area and have lived there alongside their families for their entire lives.
