Greater Manchester motorways LIVE - latest updates on M60, M62, M56, M6 and more
If you're thinking about heading out this weekend, it's best to check on Greater Manchester's motorways before you do.
In this live blog, we'll provide updates on congestion, closures and crashes. On Saturday morning (September 16, 2023), the roads appear to be free of any unplanned incidents, but one motorway slip road is closed.
That is the entry slip road at junction two of the M67, which is sealed off for a long-term project. It's not set to re-open until 2025.

Although it's quiet now, traffic will build later as Manchester United host Brighton in a Premier League match at Old Trafford. Kick off is at 3pm, so if you're planning on traveling around the stadium at that time, it might be wise to reconsider.
This is a live blog, with updates to come. Please check below for the latest.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix is not reporting any live incidents on the motorway network, save for the M67 slip road closure. If you're an early bird, it's the perfect chance to get out and about.
