Nominations to run in the election officially closed at 4pm on Friday (April 5), with polling day being Thursday, May 2. The list of election agents, and who they are representing, was posted at the headquarters of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) in the city centre this afternoon.

On Monday (April 8), a formal Statement of Persons Nominated will be released online, the GMCA has also confirmed. However, with nominations now closed, no new candidates will be able to make it on to the ballot by the time that is released.
