Grand National Festival LIVE racing results from Aintree as Day 1 gets under way

After the cheer of Cheltenham and the awesomeness of Ayr, we’re back with another live blog for all your needs.

Yep, it’s the Grand National Festival and we’re expecting another great day great day of racing at Aintree.

There are SEVEN races on today at the famous festival – and we’ll give you all the best racing tips and horse racing results right here as well as from the other meetings at Ffos Las, Taunton and Chelsmford.

Our resident tipster Garry Owen has been swotting up (does he do anything else?) and is going for PROTEKTORAT (2:55) in the Betway Bowl Chase at Aintree.

Garry also reckons top trainer Dan Skelton can add the Randox Foxhunters' Chase to his haul with MARRACUDJA (4:05).

It’s going to be a brilliant Day 1 – so join us LIVE with our No.1 team of Robert Mann and Ian Brindle...
