A POCH LIKES KANE ‘EXCLUSIVE’

Ralf Rangnick said in his press conference on Friday that it’s “obvious” Manchester United need a striker as Cristiano Ronaldo “should score more goals”, in a statement we are sure Ronaldo is absolutely fine with.

The United manager’s thoughts came in a week in which the speculation over the club’s next permanent manager went up a couple of notches.

Richard Arnold is now in place as chief executive and what already seems as though it will be a long, very boring process to hire a new boss has ramped up.

Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag and Luis Enrique are currently the three leading candidates, and The Telegraph have now released an ‘EXLUSIVE’ claiming Poch will ‘try and sign Harry Kane’ should he become the new United manager. As Exclusives go, it’s not the most revelatory.

Kane and Pochettino enjoyed a bountiful time of it together at Tottenham and have been on a path to misery since. Kane’s goals have dried up and Poch is enduring a spell with Paris Saint Germain.

Manchester City made a £130m move for Kane last summer as the England captain pushed for the exit, but he’s publicly stated he’s more content in north London with Antonio Conte at the helm. But while Conte’s future remains in doubt, so too does Kane’s.

The report claims Untied have ‘previously discussed the prospect of Kane’ and now ‘regret not making a moe concerted attempt’.
