Gorka Marquez addresses BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans' concern as he says 'sorry'

Gorka Marquez has addressed his future on Strictly Come Dancing after his latest career move left fans concerned. Over the weekend the dancer made his judging debut as he joined the Spanish version of the BBC One dance contest.

Gorka, 33, announced his new gig a few days before his TV appearance as he jetted to Madrid. He confirmed on Thursday (January 11) that he's now a judge on the new series of Bailando con las Estrell before he made his debut on Saturday (January 14).

But less than 24 hours later and the dad-of-two was back at his Greater Manchester home with his fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their children, four-year-old daughter Mia and six-month-old son Thigao.

Following his return back to the UK before he jets off again for the next live show, Gorka decided to take part in an Instagram Q&A with his fans and followers. And it wasn't long before Gorka was quizzed about his position on Strictly after some wondered if his new role would have an impact.

The fan asked: "Will you still dance in UK Strictly?" The dancer then replied with a photo of him alongside his Strictly co-stars during an ensemble routine: "I hope so. I love @bbcstrictly is THE BEST."

Meanwhile, Gorka also appeared to revive comments about his appearance on Bailando con las Estrell as he seemingly apologised for his Spanish. The talented star, who hails from Bilbao in northern Spain, wrote alongside a picture of himself suited and booted for the first show: "Yes because it's 10 years without speaking Spanish every day and it seem not but forgets. Sorry everyone
