Gogglebox line-up confirmed as cast members return for autumn 2023 series

Gogglebox is back with another series as we get into autumn. Some of the UK's favourite TV-watchers will be offering their witty comments and musings on the week's shows and news.

In the summer, fans had a season of the show's Celebrity edition to enjoy, which featured Martin and Roman Kemp, Davina McCall and NDubz. Since then, the popular reality show beat Ant and Dec to The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award at the recent National Television Awards.

It won The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, pipping The Masked Singer, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway to the post. Amira Rota, Amani Rota, Jenny Newby and Lee Riley attended the glitzy ceremony at London's O2 Arena.

Now, the armchair critics for season 22 have been confirmed. Best friends Lee and Jenny from Hull, and Pete and Sophie, brother and sister from Blackpool, were among the first cast members to announce their return via Instagram.

Posting a silly photo of her and Pete with a face-altering filter, Sophie said: "Me n r pedro ready for series 22" followed by laughing face emojis. Meanwhile Jenny and Lee posted a photo from their sofa with the caption: "It's nearly time for series 22 hope your going to join us on sept 8th at 9 to watch abit of tele with us see ya next Friday."

However there will be one couple notably absent from the next series after they announced their departure from the show. Stephen Webb, 50, and husband Daniel Lustig, 46, revealed on Thursday their time on the popular reality programme was ending ahead of the next series.
