Gogglebox fans say same thing as Pete Sandiford has cost of living worry over heating

Fans were left baffled after Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford shared his cost of living fears. On tonight's episode (Friday, October 6), the Channel 4 star told his sister Sophie he was 'freezing' and wanted to turn the heating on but had concerns over his bills.

But Sophie replied there was no chance she was putting the heating on until 'there's frost in the air.' "We're only in October," she said.

Pete replied: "Are you joking!? It's freezing!" But Sophie replied: "That heating will not be going on until there's frost in the air." Sophie agreed with her brother after he said he was worried about his heating bill rising when he goes onto a variable tariff soon.

She said: "I've been on a variable the whole way through the cost of living crisis. It's been a wild ride." But fans agreed it was far too early to think about using the heating, questioning why Pete thinks temperatures have dropped.

Sara wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "No way is it freezing." Gabby added: "Where is it cold?"
