Finals weekend in Scotland continues apace this afternoon as two of the women's game's top sides - Glasgow City and Rangers - get set to face off on the Hampden surface for the SWF Scottish Cup Final.

After an extraordinary end to the SWPL League season that saw Hibs secure the title with a 1-0 at Ibrox, Glasgow City swooped in to capitalise on the slip from Jo Potter's side to snare the other Champions League qualifying spot on offer with a 2-0 victory over Hearts at Petershill Park.

Rangers have been far and away the top scorers in Scotland this season, but have only the League Cup in the trophy cabinet and a third-placed league finish to show for it.

Matching last season's cup double would go some way to easing the pain of missing out on the riches of the Champions League, but questions may be asked in the wake of the final day heartache.

For Glasgow City, adding a cup to that lucrative European qualifier place would cap the season off in some style for Leanne Ross's side.
