'Give us our own channel' - Nottingham Forest fans pile in after more fixture changes
Nottingham Forest’s magical FA Cup run may have come to an end at the weekend, but the Reds remain firmly in the spotlight.
Steve Cooper’s side will be firmly focused on a promotion push when the Championship action resumes after the international break. And it seems like the TV cameras will be there almost every step of the way.
Two more of Forest’s games have been picked for live TV coverage, with the kick-off times for matches against Luton Town and West Bromwich Albion over the Easter weekend both moved. The fixtures were originally scheduled for 3pm starts, but the Reds will now travel to face the Hatters on Friday, April 15, at 12.30pm and host the Baggies on Monday, April 18, at 8pm.
The changes have certainly got Forest fans talking. Here’s a look at what has been said...
We've been on the telly more times than the repeats of Only Fools and Horses on Dave this season.
It seems as though every single match we play is televised at the moment.
Another #nffc 3pm kick off moves to night time! Not great when you attend with young daughter who will now miss another game as STH! Must be at least 4 games missed this season for @SkyFootball maybe they should refund fans who can’t make the rearranged time?
Every bloody game is on tv they love us.
Just give us our own channel already!
Sky doing their best to prepare us for the Prem by putting us on telly every week.
We Still sell out both.
I know that Sky pay the club money, but I am not in the best of health and struggle with night matches. I have already missed some evening matches and here, probably, comes another one.
8pm kick off v West Brom? No thought for the fans whatsoever.
Just messed up my days I booked off.
was looking forward to WBA at 3pm, ah well just
