'Give me that all day' — Manchester United fans all say same thing amid Christian Eriksen links

Manchester United fans are calling for the club to sign Christian Eriksen amid reports that the club have joined the race to sign the Denmark international.

Eriksen is available as a free agent this summer, having come to the end of his short-term deal with Brentford. The 30-year-old signed a six-month contract with the Bees after being released by Inter Milan, having been fitted with an implantable cardiovascular defibrillator after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.

The midfielder made a huge impression while with Brentford, and there now looks set to be a race for his signature this summer. The Bees have reportedly made an offer, while former club Tottenham are also thought to be interested, along with Everton.

And reports are suggesting United are also entering the race. According to the Mirror, Eriksen has emerged as an option for new boss Erik ten Hag as he searches for midfield reinforcements.

The new United boss is said to have been impressed by Eriksen’s desire and performances under Thomas Frank, having helped Brentford to seven wins from the 10 games he started. But there’s one key factor that United fans are being drawn to.

Eriksen being available for free would certainly be an attractive prospect for United as Ten Hag begins his rebuild at Old Trafford. The Reds are certainly in need of reinforcements, and the Dane’s addition would help them save some money for other areas that need addressing.
