Gio van Bronckhorst provides Rangers injury update as he reveals 'really strong' change after Napoli

Rangers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their return to Premiership action against Dundee United.

The Ibrox side are under pressure to arrest a run of three games without a victory - or a goal - after successive defeats to Celtic, Ajax and Napoli. Van Bronckhorst's players turned in an improved display against the Serie A leaders in a midweek Champions League group stage cracker but eventually went down 3-0 after James Sands was sent off.

A rejuvenated but still managerless Dundee United are Saturday's visitors to Ibrox as they look to haul themselves off the foot of the table under interim boss Liam Fox. The Tannadice outfit are unbeaten in their last two after being demolished 9-0 by Celtic. But despite their downturn in form, Rangers remain heavy favourites and Van Bronckhorst revealed his squad has come through their European exploits unscathed.

He told Rangers TV: "We don't have any fresh new injuries after the game on Wednesday. We have all the players who were available in the last game."

Van Bronckhorst also reckons there's been a psychological shift within his dressing room post-Napoli despite suffering another loss. Rangers were far more competitive than in their dismal showings against Celtic and Ajax; creating a number of chances before Sands' dismissal turned the tide in the Italians' favour.

And the Rangers boss said: "Mentally, although we suffered another defeat, the players look really strong. That's an aspect we need to have switching back to the league. With a home game we are very determined to get back to winning ways.
