George Baldock on 'going crazy' after ending 26-month wait for Sheffield United goal

George Baldock went into today's game against Swansea City carrying a considerable Sheffield United drought.

The defender had not found the back of the net since way back in December 2019.

That goal against Norwich City was a mammoth 26 months back but Baldock made sure the wait was worth it, as he volleyed in United's second goal in their thumping 4-0 victory over the Swans.

"Hecky has been talking to me about getting into those positions more often.

"I would say to anyone you always get the best outcomes when you don't get time to think too much. At that time it was just instinct, I hit it and I was delighted."

Baldock did go off early but Heckingbottom
