Genius £20 Next item that 'everyone who fake tans needs' to stop tan transferring onto bedding goes viral on TikTok

If you're an avid user of fake tan, you'll know the issue that arises the morning after you've slept in it.

Although you wake up with a fresh golden tan, it often transfers onto your bed sheets leaving them looking dirty and stained.

A young woman has now gone viral on TikTok after sharing a genius product she found in Next, that solves this problem completely.

Ellie Pearce shared the genius fake tan hack on the social media app, with a caption that read 'everyone who fake tans needs this'.

The product is a 'self tan bed sheet protector' sold online on Next's website for £20.

In the viral video, which has racked up 1.6 million views 106.7 thousand likes, Ellie demonstrates how the sheet protector works.

In just 8-seconds she shows how the sheet protector simply goes over your existing bedding and pillows, and stops your tan from transferring onto your bed sheets.

In the comment section of her video, Ellie wrote: 'It hooks over your pillow too and won’t ruin your bed sheets, it's fab if your tanning at someone else’s too.'

In the 4,300 comments, various TikTok users have tagged their friends and family members saying 'you need this'.

One girl commented: "I swear you’ve saved my life haha. I time my bed washing with my fake tan."

Another said: "This is actually smart for like hotels, other people's houses and that."

A third jokes: "Is there one that’s the size of the whole house so it covers the bath the towels the toilet seat the hallway because my sister needs one ASAP."
