Gary Neville: Video of Man United legend 'commentating on himself playing football' goes viral

Gary Neville had a superb football career.

The Englishman made his debut for Manchester United in 1992 and he went on to make 602 appearances for the club.

He enjoyed a trophy laden 19 years at the Red Devils before hanging up his boots in 2011.

Over the past decade, Neville has emerged into one of the best commentators in the business.

In one instance, Neville goes through on goal and finishes into the corner.

“It’s amazing, it’s brilliant. You do feel blessed to be in the stadium to watch it,” his commentary says of the goal.

In another clip, Neville wipes out Steven Gerrard in the box against Liverpool and gives away a penalty.

“Oh dear. Oh dear. That’s a stonewall penalty,” his commentary says.

Neville is also seen missing an easy chance, accompanied with his commentary: “He’s not someone who is the most comfortable in front of goal.”

While after he is sent off against Everton for booting the ball into the crowd, Neville says: “Keep your head. Keep your
