Gary Neville says he's 'bored' of Manchester United in savage verdict

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has hit out at the club's ongoing struggles, admitting that he is becoming 'bored' of watching them.

United dropped to seventh in the Premier League table on Saturday after being beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United at St James' Park. Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game to inflict yet another away defeat on the Reds against a main rival.

You have to go back to October 2021 for the last time United beat a top-eight team on their travels in the Premier League, with their away record against the division's elite under Erik ten Hag nothing short of atrocious. They have played Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle on their travels so far this season and have lost all three games.

The performance United produced at St James' at the weekend was well below the standards expected, with several members of Ten Hag's squad failing to do the basics. It has automatically resulted in Ten Hag's future being questioned.

As for Neville, United's ongoing cycle of producing flat, uninspiring performances has led him to a point where he is now 'bored' of watching them, admitting it is becoming tiring. He has also admitted that he is dreading the outcome of their trip to Liverpool later this month.
